TEKsystems is seeking motivated individuals for a role as a Delinquency Control Counselor with a leading financial institution.

Position Overview:

  • Engage in a call center environment utilizing an auto-dialer for outbound communications while also handling incoming calls.
  • Focus on early-stage collections for accounts that are 1-30 days overdue, aiming for a set number of calls each day.
  • Manage and recover past due Consumer Loan and Credit Card accounts, addressing early delinquency stages.
  • Provide financial guidance to members to help mitigate potential losses.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid schedule with two days per week required onsite.

Work Hours:

Full-time position, 40 hours weekly. Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with Saturday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Availability to work Saturdays is essential, with a weekday off provided in exchange.

Required Skills:

Experience in collections, achieving sales targets, retail sales, administrative tasks, banking, and customer service is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to and advise delinquent members to resolve their accounts using various payment options and loss mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee delinquency management for Consumer and Credit Card loan accounts.
  • Ensure that all necessary notifications, including collection communications and regulatory letters, are dispatched to members.
  • Clearly explain options available to members, including settlements and bankruptcy alternatives.
  • Gather comprehensive financial details from members in delinquency and propose solutions to avoid bankruptcy or charge-off.
  • Facilitate manager share transfers within authorized limits.
  • Provide necessary reports to supervisors and management, including daily activity trends and payment tracking.
  • Utilize online tools and contact relevant parties as needed.
  • Regularly review member account information to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and government regulations.
