Job Overview

This role is crucial in the formulation of the quarterly financial reports for the organization. The individual will significantly contribute to the advancement of the Global Accounting & Reporting Services division by demonstrating a robust professional demeanor and exceptional technical accounting and reporting skills. This position necessitates collaboration across various brands to guarantee precise reporting. Moreover, outstanding communication skills are essential as this role will involve close interaction with corporate teams, including but not limited to Treasury, FP&A, tax, and legal departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of external financial reports on a quarterly basis for regulatory filings, which involves working alongside corporate teams and engaging with executive leadership.
  • Compilation and preparation of disclosure support for the financial reports.
  • Drafting memos and work papers that substantiate the issuance of financial reports and audits.
  • Evaluation of new accounting standards and their implications for the organization.
  • Development of various schedules and timelines to facilitate the timely delivery of external financial reports.
  • Creation of roll forward schedules along with the necessary supporting documents.
  • Execution of special projects as required and identification of process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Must hold a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification; preferred but not mandatory.
  • Professional experience of 5+ years in a public accounting firm with SEC or comparable experience.
  • Prior experience with Oracle Financial Systems, Hyperion Essbase, Workiva, and BlackLine is advantageous but not essential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.

Travel Requirements: Minimal or no travel expected.

Work Environment: Primarily operates in a climate-controlled setting with minimal safety or health hazards. Occasional work beyond standard business hours may be necessary to meet business needs or project deadlines.
