We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our company's tax returns and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of the federal consolidated tax return, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Prepare federal and state partnership and LLC tax returns, leveraging your expertise in tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns, including combined/unitary and separate state income tax returns.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of the Company's consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations, ensuring alignment with financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist with IRS and state tax authority audits, providing expert analysis and support.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly estimated income tax payments, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Perform tax research and analysis on special projects as needed, staying up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations.
  • Identify and implement federal and state tax planning opportunities, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • CPA is a plus, but not required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in tax in public accounting or corporate tax.
  • Self-starter, communicator, and good interpersonal skills.
