Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with two years of experience in social services or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in social services.
  • Possession of or actively pursuing a Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) certification (CAAP, CAAC, CADC, or CAADC).
  • A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with the ability to travel and provide community-based services.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with integrated team members.
  • Preferred knowledge or experience with trauma-informed care.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week during agency hours, which are Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, with occasional Saturday hours.

Physical Requirements:

  • Vision: Must be able to see well enough to read reports and utilize a computer.
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear adequately to communicate with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Mobility: Must have the ability to move within the agency and the community.
  • Lifting: Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds.
  • Other: Must be proficient in writing, typing, and using technology.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working with individuals who have co-occurring disorders.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in English and Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with the 12 Step Program and community resources.
  • Experience with trauma-informed approaches is a plus.
