Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Manager to join our Services_AME team in the United States. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing business process activities, ensuring expeditious communication with customers, and providing counsel to engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Management: Directly or through delegation, manage business process activities, including RFQ and tendering processing, procurement processes, order entry processing, order planning, order coordination/project management, and central point of contact for customer questions regarding schedules and other inquiries.
  • Communication and Coordination: Ensure expeditious communication with customers on tenders, order changes, status updates, and concerns.
  • Order Management: Manage orders through to completion and ensure changes to orders are conveyed to appropriate departments.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Provide monthly sales forecasting support.
  • Counseling and Support: Provide counsel to engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams with key activity due dates and work prioritization.
  • Standardization and Continuous Improvement: Actively involved with standardization and continuous improvement processes.
  • LEAN and QESH Management System: Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and QESH Management System, including following all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Other Responsibilities: Other management responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager and General Manager, as well as maintaining all company initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Responsible for direct report's activities.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Qualification in Engineering, Science, or Business discipline or approved combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in closely related position, preferably in a manufacturing, sales, or customer service environment.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness.
  • Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiation in a commercial environment.
  • Staff Management: Staff management experience.
  • Manufacturing and Project Management: Knowledge of pump or other manufacturing and project management.
  • Quality Principles: Experience with engineered products and quality principles.
  • Nuclear, Commercial, or Export Markets: Proficient knowledge of nuclear, commercial, or export markets.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and all aspects of SAP strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce CRM: Salesforce CRM experience a plus.
  • Engineering Drawings: The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sectional drawings, engineered bill of materials.
  • Customer Requirements: The ability to read and understand customer-specific requirements on inquiries and purchase orders.
