About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Structures Technician Sr., you'll play a critical role in the assembly and integration of our launch vehicles, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety. If you're passionate about aerospace engineering and have a strong background in mechanical systems, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate precision calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance area safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and standards.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Knowledge of 3-D CAD tools and experience with composite and metallic structure fabrication.
