Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer IV to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, including HVAC, refrigeration, and pool equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and maintenance staff to ensure knowledge transfer and succession planning.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or certification in HVAC, electrical, or refrigeration preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field; supervisory experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification and ability to meet applicable state and federal certification requirements.
