About the Role:

  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as AC/DC drives and motors, programmable logic controllers, process controllers, stepper & servo motors, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, and plant support equipment.
  • Implement automated system upgrades and improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Determine best practices for systems control that comply with corporate, plant, and department safety rules.
  • Support engineering, production, and maintenance of production, converting, assembly, and packaging equipment; troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
  • Create an environment that supports all departments in achieving customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Possess an associate degree/2-year certificate in a maintenance-related field or 2 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with reliability analysis, predictive (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM).
  • Motivation to learn and grow.

Work Environment:

  • Onsite – Detroit, MI.
  • No travel required.
  • Relocation assistance may be authorized.
