Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler - Optical Technician to join our team at Staff Perm in Charlotte, NC. As a Production Assembler - Optical Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing optical components, including sub-assemblies, assemblies, prototypes, and reworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly operations on optical or opto-mechanical assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing assembly, test, and data collection on assembly units.
  • Ensure setups and adjustments meet specifications.
  • Manual and/or automatic assembly, inspection, and test of optical parts.
  • Verify kits are complete and correct.
  • Assist Engineering in creating, developing, and revising assembly documentation.

Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Some experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Windows and Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Assembly of opto-mechanical components with related tooling.
