Job Description: Product Repair Specialist with Assembly Focus
The Product Repair Specialist with a focus on assembly is responsible for all processes related to disassembly, repair, and assembly of various equipment and components, including rotating equipment, pumps, and nuclear pump assemblies. This role requires the ability to work independently, inspect, repair, and assemble components and equipment accurately, and complete all required documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment and components using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Select and use inspection equipment to check dimensions of critical components during disassembly and assembly.
  • Complete written descriptions of wear and condition of critical components.
  • Ensure all forms and documentation are complete prior to submission to engineering and quality assurance.
  • Paint and prep equipment as required before shipment to customers.


Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in inspection, repair, and assembly of components and equipment within a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of common power and hand tools needed for assembly, and precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, shop drawings, assembly checklists, and other written work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office package.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
