Assembly Technician

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is a leading provider of high-tech solutions in the electronics industry. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual dexterity, multitasking, and process improvement skills.
Job OverviewThis is a swing shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for following detailed work instructions to perform basic production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products, and soldering. You will also obtain a basic understanding of quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities- Follow detailed work instructions to perform assembly tasks
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Packaging and building products according to specifications
- Soldering and other electronic production processes
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Demonstrated experience in manual dexterity and multitasking
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
- Competitive salary range: $20-$25 per hour
- Shift differential: $1.75 per hour
- 10 paid holidays per year
