An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assembly Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Volvo Group in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

About the RoleThis is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the assembly team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will be working closely with the engineering department to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing standards and technologies.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also be responsible for:
- Preparing components for testing and dynamically testing assembled components
- Maintaining work instructions and documentation, including product disassembly, assembly, and testing
- Scheduling and conducting employee training in testing and assigning scheduled jobs to technicians
- Calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting problems
- Working with product support, material teams, cleaning, and machine shop to manage the flow of materials and meet work schedules
