Job Title: Information Technology Support Coordinator

Overview:

Texas Oncology, a leading provider of cancer care, is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Support Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Provide end-user support and training on various software applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of hardware and software.
  • Document and maintain records of technical issues, support requests, and vendor communications.
  • Assist in the maintenance of network systems, servers, and workstations, including installation of software and hardware.
  • Set up and delete user IDs and passwords in practice management systems and submit requests to the corporate office for user accounts in file server and email systems.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an IT support role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior computer networking experience and certifications such as A+ and MCP in Microsoft Office are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
