Job Summary:
The Comprehensive Community Support Specialist coordinates and provides services and resources to individuals and families necessary to promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency. The specialist addresses goals specifically in the following areas:
- Parenting Skills: Developing effective parenting techniques to promote healthy child development.
- Training and Behavior Management: Providing training and support to individuals and families to manage challenging behaviors.
- Independent Living: Assisting individuals and families to develop skills necessary for independent living.
- Learning: Providing educational support to individuals and families to promote learning and development.
- Socializing and Recreation: Facilitating opportunities for socialization and recreation to promote overall well-being.

Job Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a human service field from an accredited university and one year of relevant experience with the target population.
- Associate's Degree: Associate's degree and a minimum of two years of experience working with the target population.
- High School Diploma: High school graduate or General Educational Development (GED) test and a minimum of three years of experience working with the target population.
- Certification: Certified as a Peer or Family Specialist.
- Driver's License: Valid NM driver's license and current automobile insurance with a clean driving record.
- Vehicle Use: Willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment.
- Bilingual: Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
- Availability: Availability to work evening and weekend hours.
- Background Check: Must comply with a criminal background check required to work with children, including Fingerprint Clearance.
