IT Support Specialist

Full Time

As an IT Support Specialist at Syndetix, you will be integral in delivering exceptional support to our team members, ensuring efficient troubleshooting of desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices while maintaining a high standard of customer service and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute software installations, upgrades, and various project tasks.
  • Configure and assist with desktop, laptop, tablet, and printer setups.
  • Oversee the Helpdesk system for incoming support requests.
  • Address urgent needs such as video conferencing setups, equipment loans, software licensing, and VIP assistance.
  • Provide remote support to users working offsite.
  • Document all issues and resolutions in the Helpdesk system.
  • Quickly evaluate issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Refer unresolved issues to appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Diagnose problems related to desktop applications and their configurations, and apply suitable solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, and a keen interest in IT operations. The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is essential. Experience with both Windows and Mac systems is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in customer support, help desk, or application support roles is preferred. Candidates should have a background in developing and adhering to IT procedures and work instructions.

Education and Experience:

A BS/BA degree in a relevant information technology field or equivalent practical experience is necessary.
