Join Our Team as a Medium to Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic
We're seeking a highly skilled Medium to Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our fleet by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing medium to heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair diesel vehicles to ensure compliance with standards
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using computerized diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
- Train and guide junior mechanics in vehicle repair techniques
- Document work orders and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in diesel mechanics preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
- Familiarity with refrigeration units and other specialized equipment
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
