Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team at US Foods, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with diesel equipment to ensure timely repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Document all repair orders and maintain accurate records of parts used and work completed
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic
- CDL A and DOT certification preferred
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive hourly rate: $28.00 per hour
