Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development of successful proposals in partnership with Atkinson's marketing and operational teams.

  • Guide the preparation of responses to RFQs and RFPs, encompassing writing, editing, and design elements.
  • Manage company resources, website content, and databases effectively.
  • Travel as necessary to support various proposal initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of proven experience in managing proposals within the heavy civil construction sector.
  • Experience in handling design-build proposals in the heavy civil construction industry.
  • Demonstrated success in executing complex proposal projects.
  • Exceptional writing abilities with a strong attention to detail and editing skills.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong initiative, creativity, and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and time management skills.
  • A solid work ethic and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
