Clinical Nutrition Specialist

At Yale New Haven Health, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Nutritionist to join our team. As a Clinical Nutritionist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting healthy eating habits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their unique needs and health goals.
- Counsel patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition principles, and food selection.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Evaluate food quality and conformance to dietary prescriptions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds and team meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field.
- One year of experience in a clinical nutrition setting preferred.
- Registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
