Position Overview:
The Water Treatment Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering a variety of water management solutions at diverse client sites. This role encompasses a wide array of water treatment initiatives, including but not limited to, steam boilers, cooling systems, wastewater management, and potable water solutions. The Analyst will also emphasize customer engagement, education, and ongoing improvements in energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee water treatment initiatives at designated client locations through regular assessments, including the collection and analysis of water samples using portable laboratory equipment.
  • Address program discrepancies by diagnosing issues and executing corrective actions, which may involve equipment maintenance or adjustments to chemical treatments.
  • Create detailed technical reports that recommend best practices for operating mechanical systems, focusing on enhancing equipment longevity and optimizing water and energy usage.
  • Facilitate client meetings to present program outcomes in a manner that fosters strong relationships and encourages proactive care of their systems.
  • Collaborate with a mentor or manager to identify, outline, and propose technical solutions to both existing and prospective clients, while tracking progress and maintaining communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a willingness to engage in hands-on work.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service.
  • Previous exposure to the water treatment sector is advantageous.
  • Post-secondary education in relevant fields such as science or engineering is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Typical Experience: 0 to 5 years in water treatment or related fields.

Working Conditions:
This role is primarily field-based, requiring visits to client facilities, including industrial and healthcare environments. The Analyst may need to be available outside standard hours to ensure client satisfaction. The position involves significant travel to and from client sites, with occasional overnight stays.

Physical Requirements:
The role can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items regularly. The Analyst will navigate industrial settings while carrying necessary equipment.
