Water Treatment Analyst

Position Summary: The Water Treatment Analyst is tasked with overseeing a variety of water management initiatives delivered by Global Water Technology at multiple client sites. These initiatives encompass steam boilers, cooling towers, closed loop systems for heating and cooling, wastewater management, potable water processing, filtration systems, and chemical dosing systems. A significant aspect of this role involves fostering customer relationships, providing education and training, and pursuing ongoing enhancements in energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer water treatment initiatives at established client locations through regular audits, which include collecting and analyzing water samples using field testing equipment.
- Address program discrepancies by diagnosing issues and implementing corrective actions, which may involve equipment repairs or adjustments to chemical dosing.
- Create detailed technical reports that advise on best practices for operating mechanical systems, focusing on prolonging equipment lifespan and achieving water and energy savings. This often entails identifying, recommending, and executing program enhancements.
- Facilitate client meetings to present program outcomes in a manner that fosters rapport and encourages client stewardship of their mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with a mentor or manager to identify, define, and promote technical solutions within the existing or new client base, while documenting and tracking progress with management and clients.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Daytime hours
- Monday to Friday
- No weekend shifts
Supplemental Pay Types:

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a willingness to work in a hands-on capacity.
- Prior experience in customer service (in related or unrelated fields) with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience in the water industry is advantageous.
- Post-secondary education in Science or Engineering is beneficial, with typical areas of focus including chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental science, or sustainability studies.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
- Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
Typical Experience: 0 to 5 years in water treatment or related fields.
Working Conditions: This role is primarily field-based, with most tasks performed at client facilities, including steam boiler rooms, mechanical rooms, industrial production sites, and healthcare facilities. The Analyst may be required to be available outside of standard business hours to ensure client satisfaction through various communication methods. The position involves significant travel to and from client locations, with occasional overnight travel based on geographic coverage and market maturity.
Physical Requirements: The role can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects regularly. The Analyst must navigate industrial environments while carrying necessary equipment, including a portable testing kit and tools.
