Position Summary:
We are in search of a skilled and driven Team Lead to oversee a designated Manufacturing Process Area.

This role entails guiding a team of associates and managing processes to ensure the safety, quality, and timely delivery of products.

The ideal candidate will be a leader capable of providing direction, inspiring the team, maintaining a secure and organized workspace, and fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

The Team Lead will serve as a support to the Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies while maintaining a safe working environment for team members.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or violations.
Conduct departmental safety orientation training.

Quality Assurance:
Accountable for ensuring compliance with Quality Management System policies and procedures.
Oversee area Layered Process Audits.
Manage Non-Conforming Material Reporting.
Ensure that training is completed and that new employees are fully qualified.

Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement by implementing DJO Global's Growth Excellence initiatives.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide input on corrective actions for abnormal conditions.
Encourage effective collaboration across departments and lead through change.
Provide recommendations on process design and implement training programs as assigned by the supervisor to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Leadership:
Inspire and guide a team of associates by managing daily operations within the department.
Ensure that daily operational goals are achieved and escalate any abnormal conditions.
Actively participate in area inspections to uphold 5S standards and ensure the team has the necessary resources to perform effectively.
Promote teamwork and communication across shifts.

Inventory Management:
Prioritize work orders, ensure completion, and manage WIP staging within the work area.
Adhere to appropriate WIP limits.
Identify and promptly address inventory discrepancies and shortages.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
4+ years of experience in a related field
1+ year of leadership experience
Proficient in MS Office Suite

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
