Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) operates under general supervision, delivering patient care and education in an outpatient environment to a diverse population, including individuals, families, and community members across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Patient Care Implementation:**
- Develop and execute evidence-based care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and conditions.
- Provide safe and appropriate nursing care, including but not limited to newborn assessments, wound management, and diabetes education.

2. **Assessment and Communication:**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather relevant patient data.
- Identify potential health or safety concerns and communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team.

3. **Interprofessional Collaboration:**
- Partner with patients and the healthcare team to establish measurable goals and strategies for care.
- Advocate for patients and families in alignment with professional standards and ethical guidelines.

4. **Team Support and Leadership:**
- Provide guidance and training to clinic team members, including medical assistants and care navigators.
- Actively participate in problem-solving and coordination of patient care within the clinic and community.

5. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with various treatments.

Qualifications:
- **Education:** Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- **Experience:** 1-3 years in a direct patient care role.
- **Licenses:**
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- RN (Registered Nurse) license required.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong adherence to professional nursing standards and ethical practices.
- Ability to assess and interpret patient data effectively.
- Proficient in using medical equipment and maintaining effective relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Capable of responding calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; EPIC documentation experience preferred.
