Job Summary

Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Regional Manager to lead our Primary Care team in Juneau. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing daily leadership and mentoring to our nursing and clinical staff, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide daily leadership and guidance to nursing and clinical staff to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
    • Identify and address any staff or clinic flow issues to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Mentor staff and solicit feedback to continuously improve our services.
    • Hold regular cross-clinic meetings to promote staff engagement, consistency, and quality improvement.
  • Staffing and Development
    • Recruit, orient, and mentor new staff members to ensure a smooth transition.
    • Provide opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Orient staff on new policies, procedures, and equipment to ensure a high level of competence.
    • Address employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Oversee the maintenance of certifications and licenses for nursing and clinical staff.
    • Ensure compliance with DNV (Det Norske Veritas) standards and regulations.
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Establish and maintain supplies for the clinic.
    • Recommend the purchase of new or replacement equipment to ensure optimal operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
    • Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state.
    • Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
  • Experience
    • 5 years of varied clinical nurse experience, including 1 year in the ambulatory care environment.
    • 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
