Senior Vice President of Property Management

Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Property Management is tasked with executing strategic property management initiatives aligned with the organization's objectives. This role encompasses the oversight of daily operations across all properties within the affordable housing sector, ensuring that all team members receive the necessary support and training to uphold Monroe Group Ltd.'s commitment to excellence in property management and community enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Vice President will undertake the following critical functions:
- Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate closely with the President to refine and implement effective property management strategies that align with Monroe Group Ltd.'s mission. Provide direction and support to staff, ensuring that strategic goals are achieved. - Operational Efficiency:
Enhance the operational and financial performance of the property portfolio by identifying and executing strategic initiatives. Advise the President on innovative operational improvements and key company initiatives. - Annual Budget Management:
Oversee the formulation and management of annual operating and capital budgets for all housing operations. Ensure compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements across the portfolio. - Team Development:
Foster a cohesive and motivated team environment by mentoring and coaching staff, facilitating leadership development opportunities, and ensuring effective collaboration among various departments. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including conducting inspections and overseeing compliance with mandatory inspections and reporting requirements. - Client and Community Engagement:
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community organizations, to support the overall management of the property portfolio.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in property management, including at least 7 years in a leadership role. Strong leadership skills, budget management experience, and excellent communication abilities are essential.
