Trauma Performance Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Performance Improvement Specialist to join our team at Nemours Foundation. This part-time position is responsible for coordinating and implementing trauma performance improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance patient care.
About the Role:
This role will work closely with the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to develop and implement policies, procedures, and care management processes to improve clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
The successful candidate will participate in the preparation and completion of internal and external reports, survey documents, and site visits. They will also ensure that patient care complies with current policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and participate in trauma performance improvement activities
• Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care
• Collaborate with the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director to develop and implement policies, procedures, and care management processes
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and complete internal and external reports, survey documents, and site visits
Requirements:
• Master's degree in nursing or public health preferred (or enrolled in such a program)
• Five or more years experience in trauma or performance improvement
• Active RN license required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
