Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our Gastroenterology division, specifically addressing the needs of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

This role is situated within a vibrant, academic GI practice that promotes collaboration with leading experts in the field. You will have the opportunity to engage in continuous learning and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment that integrates clinical care, education, and research into daily operations.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time position with a Day Shift schedule
    • Flexible options for 5 eight-hour shifts (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) or 4 ten-hour shifts (8:00 am - 6:00 pm) with Tuesdays off
    • No weekend, holiday, or on-call duties
  • 100% outpatient care
  • No procedural responsibilities
  • Practice at designated clinics

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a renowned IBD team to expand our academic outpatient practice.
  • Conduct evaluations and manage care for patients with Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis, ensuring they maintain a high quality of life.
  • Participate in a collaborative care model alongside physicians and advanced practice providers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field mandatory
  • Board eligibility or certification required
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state
  • Certification as a PA, FNP, or ACNP essential
  • Previous experience in IBD, GI, or Internal Medicine preferred
  • Ideal candidates will be quick learners, collaborative, ambitious, and adaptable
  • Familiarity with Cerner advantageous
