This role presents a remarkable chance to engage in a learning-oriented atmosphere within a prominent and thriving department, supported by exceptional leadership and a rich legacy of achievement.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time, Day Shift
    • Flexible scheduling options: 4 days of 10-hour shifts or 5 days of 8-hour shifts available
    • No requirements for weekend, night, holiday work, or on-call duties
  • Work distribution: 40% outpatient care, 60% inpatient care
  • No procedural responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of 10 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (6 APPs total).

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with current inpatient liver consult PAs who provide in-person coverage at affiliated hospitals, along with virtual consultations to various locations.
  • Provide follow-up care for patients post-discharge in the outpatient clinic, while also becoming proficient in managing urgent new liver consultations.
  • Function autonomously while being supported to practice at the highest level of your capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree mandatory
  • Certification as a PA, FNP, or ACNP mandatory
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Open to enthusiastic new graduates with a keen interest in Gastroenterology/Hepatology
  • Previous experience in GI, Hospitalist, or inpatient specialty settings preferred but not essential
