This role presents a remarkable chance to engage in a learning-focused atmosphere within a prominent and dynamic department, backed by exceptional leadership and a proven track record of success.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time, Day Shift options available
    • Flexible scheduling with choices of 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts
    • No requirements for weekend, night, holiday, or on-call duties
  • Workload distribution: 40% outpatient care, 60% inpatient responsibilities
  • Focus on patient care without procedural tasks
  • Collaborate with a team of 10 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (6 APPs total) in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with current inpatient liver consult PAs who provide in-person care at affiliated hospitals, along with virtual consultations.
  • Continuity of care by following up with patients post-discharge in the outpatient setting, while also managing urgent new liver consults.
  • Practice autonomously while receiving support to maximize your professional capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree is mandatory
  • Certification as a PA, FNP, or ACNP is required
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Open to enthusiastic new graduates with a keen interest in Gastroenterology/Hepatology
  • Previous experience in GI, Hospitalist, or inpatient specialties is advantageous but not essential
