We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to enhance our Gastroenterology department, specializing in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
This role is situated within a vibrant, academic GI practice that encourages collaboration with leading experts in the field. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge daily while being part of a supportive, team-driven environment that integrates clinical care, education, and research into the routine responsibilities of all team members.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, Day Shift
- Flexible scheduling options: 5 days of 8-hour shifts (8:00am-5:00pm) or 4 days of 10-hour shifts (8:00am-6:00pm) with Tuesdays off
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call duties
- 100% outpatient care
- No procedural responsibilities
- Practice locations include IU Health University Hospital and additional clinics
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth of our esteemed IBD outpatient practice.
- Conduct evaluations and manage care for patients with Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis, ensuring they maintain a high quality of life.
- Work within a collaborative care model alongside physicians and advanced practice providers.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a relevant field mandatory
- Board eligibility or certification is essential
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Indiana is required
- Certification as a PA, FNP, or ACNP mandatory
- Experience in IBD, GI, or Internal Medicine is preferred
- Ideal candidates will be quick learners, collaborative, and adaptable
- Familiarity with Cerner is advantageous
