We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Lakeshore Learning Materials, LLC. As a key member of our Employee Experience Team, you will play a critical role in deploying and aligning business objectives and people strategy with our employees and leadership in designated business units.
Key Responsibilities- Partner daily with leaders in designated business functions to create and execute on the talent strategy for their teams, including org structure, change management, hiring, recognition, and engagement.
- Coach leaders to be their best for their team and the company, providing day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions.
- Engage in team and 1:1 meetings as a change partner and business partner, providing insights into interpersonal dynamics, talent trends, culture, and solutions designed to get the best from everyone inside those organizations.
- Champion the deployment of HR initiatives, including Total Rewards, DEIB, Ops/HRIS, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Communications, to designated business units to ensure successful implementation and continual feedback loop.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations in partnership with the Employee Relations team to ensure equity and thoroughness.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance, partnering with the legal department and internal HR team as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to build strong relationships with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
