About the Role

The MCA Controller - AVP is a senior professional role that requires in-depth disciplinary knowledge and expertise in MCA operations. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new techniques and processes, and integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in MCA testing completion, BSER reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation, and settlement forecasts.
  • Takes responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of complex deliverables.
  • Accountable for integrity of process, operations, and associated results.
  • Responsible for detailed analysis of issues on transaction capture and related functions.
  • Develops and exercises business plans, policies, and procedures, and demonstrates an ability to lead projects and offer innovative solutions.
  • Oversees the daily performance related to transactions capture pre-settlement activities of operations processes.
  • Committed to process improvement, client service, control, and cost reduction.
  • Liaises with internal and external clients to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conducts discovery and due diligence activities with clients to meet their needs.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis to define problems and develop solutions.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with colleagues, management, internal/external clients, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in MCA operations.
  • Subject matter expert in one (or more) specific skill sets, business areas, or products.
  • Proven record of working on projects within a team environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving experience.
