  • Analyze historical trends of businesses or markets
  • Create spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and recommendations regarding loan structure and pricing for lenders
  • Conduct property inspections to verify accuracy
  • Assign risk ratings to support loan applications
  • Prepare annual assessments of existing loan relationships
  • Develop credit presentations for the approval process
  • Maintain precise records for lending clients and accounts
  • Assist with special initiatives aimed at managing risks within the lending function
  • Stay informed about software, compliance, and procedures related to the loans department
  • Help maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Comply with the bank's policies, procedures, security protocols, and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial underwriting
  • Exceptional analytical and reasoning abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
