Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage acute, critical, and chronic patient illnesses and diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and assess and determine differential diagnoses
- Prescribe medication, therapy, and treatments accordingly
- Interpret and evaluate patient data to determine management and treatment plans
- Perform minor surgeries and routine procedures
- Consult with physicians as necessary
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies in your clinical specialty
Develop and implement patient care plans, including counseling, education, and health promotion.
- Counsel and educate patients on physical and mental health, including diet, preventive health measures, health behaviors, self-care skills, disease, treatment options, and normal growth and development
- Provide care coordination, including managing ancillary services, pre-operative plans, discharge planning, provider referrals, and medical devices
- Prescribe, recommend, and regulate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies across multiple care settings
Must possess a high level of clinical proficiency, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

- Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the workday.
- Must have functional speech, vision, touch, and hearing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs with a second person present
Will be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards, as well as blood and body fluids, and must wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary.
