Summary of Role

The Senior Manager of Commercial, Business and Technology (CBT) Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic communications platform and messaging for GF's Chief Business Officer.

This role will serve as a strategic communications partner to the CBO and his leadership team, creating clear and concise communications to help our team better understand GF's product and technology roadmaps, business and commercial strategy, and go-to-market execution plans.

This role will also provide communications support for GF's product management, design platforms, and business strategy and planning teams.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Communication Strategy: Develop and implement strategic communication plans for CBT, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate communication strategy, editorial calendar, and corporate calendar.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and key internal stakeholders within CBT, collaborating closely to understand their needs and objectives.
  3. Change Management: Lead communication efforts to support CBT's ongoing organizational changes.
  4. Content Development: Create compelling and informative content, including internal communications, executive messaging, and presentations.
  5. Executive Communication: Assist senior leaders in crafting and delivering effective communication, including speeches, presentations, and announcements.
Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications
  1. Education – Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in corporate communications and/or executive communications, developing world-class communications strategies and programs for employees and executives.
  3. 5+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives or business unit leaders.
  4. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and One Drive).
  5. Travel – Up to 30%.
  6. Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of experience in the tech industry or sufficient technical background and understanding of the IT industry to be able to incorporate technical messages fluently.
  2. Experience supporting a commercial or sales organization.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior executives, providing positioning counsel and executing with a sense of urgency.
  4. Global perspective and experience working at a global company; understanding and sensitivity to global differences.
  5. Strong executive presence.
  6. Strategic thinking and data-driven, proactive execution.
  7. Strong understanding of the communications ecosystem and the importance of multi-channel planning (internal and external channels).
  8. High emotional intelligence; strong interpersonal communication skills.
  9. Experience contributing to business goals through strategic communications for large, complex organizations.
  10. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts.
  11. Ability to present information in an accurate yet unique and compelling manner with an executive voice.
  12. Mastery of modern communications workflow processes and tools, including videos, podcasts, etc.
  13. Ability and affinity for working in a matrix environment with cross-collaboration and multiple lines of accountability.
  14. Ability to manage issues and remain calm under pressure.
  15. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  16. Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
  17. Experience working at a publicly traded company.
Expected Salary Range

$116, $239,500.00

The exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.
