Job Overview

General Informatics is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As the face of our company, this role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead to customer, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, budget, and timeline to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and General Informatics Services Portfolio to provide expert advice and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and partners to identify new revenue opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Prepare and present proposals/quotes to decision-makers, highlighting the value and ROI of our solutions.
  • Utilize sales methodology and processes to drive sales performance and achieve revenue goals.
  • Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territories.
  • Maintain and grow sales pipeline to consistently meet sales targets.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of direct selling experience, preferably in technology sales.
  • Deep experience building relationships and understanding customer needs.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools.
  • Exceptional personal management, interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a focus on urgency and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Management or Sales.
  • Training in sales frameworks such as Challenger, Sandler, or Consultative Selling.
  • Certified Sales Executive (CSE) or Certified Professional Sales Leader (CPSL) preferred.
