Crawford Architects, LLC is seeking a skilled Project Designer to contribute to our team in Honolulu. As a Project Designer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various project phases, including RFQ/P coordination, developer on-boarding, compliance, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with firm principals, project managers, and architects to perform assignments.
  • Develop, modify, and review drawings according to established standards.
  • Review developer's architectural documents for contractual compliance with design standards.
  • Ensure quality assurance for documentation of all phases in compliance with QA/QC and Best Practice Standards.
  • Communicate design intent, product research, and code requirements into technical documents.
  • Assist with programming and master planning efforts.
  • Provide construction administration services, overseeing project completion.
  • Coordinate project information with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, project management, and design and construction teams.
  • Create graphics and research information for marketing and promotional materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in architecture, project management, construction, or a related field.
  • Residency in the State of Hawai'i.
  • Strong technical skills with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability Requirements, including USGBC/LEED standards.
  • Soft skills: strong knowledge of design principles, ability to interpret design concepts, and effective communication skills.
