About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop knowledge of firm, immigration case types, and client processes.
  • Prepare and file petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, review, drafting, and filing.
  • Communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing clear and prompt responses regarding case status or other general inquiries.
  • Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress, status, and escalations to supervisors.
  • Compile and summarize large quantities of data within case management systems for reporting to clients, managers, and teams.
  • Contribute to team and individual productivity goals.
  • Follow documented firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Paralegal certification, or experience in a customer-facing or client-service-oriented role.
  • Client-service mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and escalate case issues to supervisors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes.
  • Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Desire to contribute to a positive work environment, effectively collaborate, and promote teamwork.
