Job Summary

Van Der Hout LLP, a leading immigration and nationality law firm, is seeking a skilled paralegal to join its expanding employment and family-based immigration practice. The successful candidate will assist attorneys in preparing non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, Labor Certification/PERM applications, and adjustment of status and naturalization applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare employment-based immigration applications for filing with government agencies
  • Manage case status and communicate with clients, witnesses, and foreign nationals
  • Review and approve client billing
  • Run reports to monitor deadlines and oversee case status using case management and billing systems
  • Write declarations and calibrate deadlines and reminders
Requirements
  • At least 1-3 years of Immigration Law paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
  • Spanish language proficiency, verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent English skills
  • Interest in human rights and immigration matters
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with case management software
