Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team at Hopedale Medical Complex. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Assist in preparing the operating room, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
  • Surgical Assistance: Provide support to surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Instrument Management: Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Patient Care: Assist in positioning patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with medical staff, patients, and families to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification and ability to obtain any necessary certifications.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
