Lead Dining Room Supervisor

Eskaton Properties, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Wait Person to join our team. As a Lead Wait Person, you will be responsible for supervising the dining room staff and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Dining Room Staff: Directly supervise wait staff and ensure that they are providing excellent service to our residents.
- Manage Dining Room Operations: Assist with the management of the dining room, including bussing and resetting tables, ensuring the dining room is clean and reset to standard prior to the next meal.
- Take Meal Orders: Take meal orders in an accurate and courteous manner, providing prompt service to fill orders and requests.
- Assist with New Employee Orientation: Assist in the orientation of all new employees, including on-the-job training, adherence to policies and procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Food Service Director with other administrative activities as directed by management.
- Maintain Safety and Sanitation Standards: Maintain standards of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the food services department.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure that appropriate levels of coverage are maintained at all times, inform supervisor of staffing/scheduling needs, and monitor and ensure completion of wait staff opening and closing duties.
- Communication: Keep supervisor and cook(s) informed of questions, comments, and/or complaints, and diligently work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) year work experience in food service operations, including California Food Handler certification.
- Job Knowledge: Ability to understand and work harmoniously with residents, staff, and healthcare professionals, maintain high professional and ethical standards, and possess computer knowledge.
