Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage the food service staff, ensuring high-quality service and exceptional customer experience.
- Assist in the management of the kitchen and dining rooms, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Oversee the service of meals to residents, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Assist in the orientation of new employees, providing on-the-job training and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Order supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure proper storage of foods and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain standards of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the food services department.
- Schedule wait staff for adequate coverage, ensuring appropriate levels of service at all times.
- Provide supervision to staff in accordance with Eskaton's prime values and established mission statement.
- High School diploma required; Food Service Management Degree or Dietary Assistant Level II or Technician Certificate preferred.
- Minimum one year of work experience supervising food service operations.
- Ability to understand and work harmoniously with residents, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain high professional and ethical standards.
- Competitive salary range: $20.50 to $25.36/hour.
