Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Manhattanview Healthcare Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing the skin program for the facility, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly skin assessments to identify risks and develop interventions to prevent avoidable skin breakdown
  • Initiate and update care plans regarding skin, and communicate with physicians and other team members as needed
  • Perform skin and related treatments according to physician orders and professional standards
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to skin management
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective skin care plans
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure and a minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and services to residents
