Position Overview:
This role presents a rewarding and varied opportunity to join our Maintenance team as an Electrical Technician. The primary responsibilities include the repair, installation, replacement, programming, and testing of all electrical circuits and equipment. You will also assist in routine to moderately complex repairs or installations of automatic electrical and electronic controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine electrical and electronic preventative maintenance on mill machinery.
- Oversee the repair, modification, and upkeep of diverse electrical and electronic systems.
- Execute tasks such as wiring circuits, component replacement, and electronic device repairs.
- Perform testing using various instruments, including multi-meters and Meggers.
- Stay updated on technical advancements or equipment designs through necessary training.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.

Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Fundamental reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Background in electrical principles.
- Proficient knowledge of three-phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with 480-volt power and logic circuits.
- Strong computer, mathematical, analytical, and planning skills.
- Ability to comprehend and follow electrical schematics independently.
- Familiarity with machine control systems.
- Capability to troubleshoot complex machine control systems.
- Ability to identify features and functions of controllers and describe pneumatic versus electronic controllers.
- Capacity to trace signal paths through control circuits.
- A combination of higher education and experience will be considered.
- Must be eligible to work legally in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability for emergency call-ins as needed.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Openness to cross-training for skill development.
- Consistent and reliable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with VFD drives.
- Familiarity with PLC systems.
- Ability to interpret PLC logic in relation to troubleshooting processes and equipment.
