Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all operated equipment is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Report any safety, mechanical, or electrical defects promptly.
  • Perform routine greasing and maintenance tasks on assigned equipment.
  • Provide training to other personnel on the operation of heavy equipment as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and upkeep of the crushing plant when required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License, CDL preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment field repair is highly desirable.
  • Experience with CAT equipment is a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment used in quarry operations.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all aspects of heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency in performing complete repairs and overhaul functions.
  • Possession of a personal set of hand tools.
  • Capacity to perform preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Basic welding skills are beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
