Heavy Equipment TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
Responsibilities- Operate various types of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure all operated equipment is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Report any safety, mechanical, or electrical defects promptly.
- Perform routine greasing and maintenance tasks on assigned equipment.
- Provide training to other personnel on the operation of heavy equipment as needed.
- Assist with cleaning and upkeep of the crushing plant when required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License, CDL preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment field repair is highly desirable.
- Experience with CAT equipment is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment used in quarry operations.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all aspects of heavy equipment.
- Proficiency in performing complete repairs and overhaul functions.
- Possession of a personal set of hand tools.
- Capacity to perform preventative maintenance tasks.
- Basic welding skills are beneficial.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
