Diversified Search Group is seeking a Senior Economic Mobility Portfolio Manager to become part of a dynamic, results-oriented team. The ideal candidate will leverage business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to impactful work in alignment with our mission.

The Senior Portfolio Manager will be tasked with developing, guiding, and overseeing key strategic and policy initiatives that resonate with our organizational strategies and priorities. This role includes managing a portfolio of grantees to ensure alignment with improved outcomes for families and children.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Management

  • Establish a programmatic investment and policy framework targeting specific populations.
  • Formulate a theory of change that enhances system improvement efforts through policy recommendations and program connections.
  • Identify and evaluate initiatives and organizations that align with our strategic goals.
  • Oversee comprehensive grant processes within the investment portfolio, from identifying potential investments to executing complex grants.

Strategic Planning and Partnerships

  • Collaborate closely with leadership on long-term strategic and investment planning.
  • Provide intellectual leadership that reflects a strong commitment to our mission.
  • Ensure consistency in strategy and policy across various content areas.
  • Engage with external partners and consultants to foster collaboration and shared objectives.

Understanding of the Economic Mobility Landscape

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of regional trends, organizations, and stakeholders focused on enhancing economic mobility.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in building strategic partnerships and consensus among key external audiences.
Work Environment

This position is based in a hybrid work environment. Employees are expected to engage in on-site collaboration during designated core hours while maintaining flexibility for remote work on other days.

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
