Job Title: Stormwater Engineer, EI

DRMP is seeking a highly skilled Stormwater Engineer to join our team. As a Stormwater Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and implementing stormwater management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive stormwater management plans, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
  • Assist with site assessments and data collection for stormwater management projects.
  • Conduct basic engineering calculations and analyses under supervision.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and cost estimates for stormwater projects and presentations.
  • Collaborate with team members to contribute to project planning and design processes.
  • Learn and apply regulatory requirements related to stormwater management.
  • Support field activities and construction oversight as needed.
  • Design stormwater infrastructure, such as detention/retention basins, storm sewers, and green infrastructure solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (EI) certification or ability to achieve.
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on stormwater management.
  • Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
  • Strong understanding of stormwater regulations and permitting processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
