Job Title: Vice President, Water Resources Engineering

WSP is seeking an experienced Vice President, Water Resources Engineering to lead our Central Florida water group and interface with other water leaders across Florida and the U.S operations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and lead the development of water resources projects, including municipal water infrastructure projects, pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, collection and conveyance systems, and rehabilitation, stormwater and water resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an established project team completing projects that include tasks such as municipal stormwater, flood mitigation, pump station design, and conveyance.
  • Lead and support business development and strategic planning efforts to increase market share in priority markets, including local and state clients with an emphasis on stormwater and water conveyance and water design-build.
  • Supervise and direct staff to ensure optimal productivity, positive motivation, training, and employee recognition.
  • Recruit/hire staff and direct project staffing assignments to meet client, contract and company business objectives.
  • Act as program/project manager and/or provide senior level technical support/ review for select projects and programs in planning, analysis, engineering and/or design associated water resources.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Civil Engineering, Water Resources or closely related discipline.
  • 15+ years of relevant post education experience in water / wastewater engineering.
  • Florida Professional Engineering License.
  • Strong business development with connections to local agencies and municipalities in Central Florida.
  • Experience with change management.
