Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified professional to oversee regulatory and environmental compliance for Salt Water Disposal wells and water recycling systems. This position involves ensuring adherence to both state and federal regulations in the regions of New Mexico and Texas. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing permits and supervising the regulatory components of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze federal, state, and local regulations pertinent to Salt Water Disposal wells and water recycling systems.
- Ensure compliance with all operational regulations and guidelines.
- Oversee the permitting process for disposal wells and recycling facilities.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and landowners to secure necessary permits.
- Prepare and submit required monthly and annual regulatory filings.
- Stay informed on changes in regulatory practices and legislation.
- Support interactions with regulatory agencies and company leadership.
- Maintain comprehensive records of permits and regulatory documentation.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the oil and gas sector.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
