About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Tax Associate to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in preserving the intellectual capital, assets, and integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal U.S. Income Tax Accounting: Assist in the preparation and completion of earnings and profits (E&P) calculations for all subsidiaries, including international inclusions and country-by-country reporting.
  • Tax Return Compliance: Assist in the preparation and completion of U.S. Consolidated Income Tax Return and various federal forms (1120, 8858, 8865, 5471, 1118, etc.).
  • State Income Tax Returns: Assist in the preparation and completion of consolidated, unitary, and standalone state income tax returns.
  • Year-End Provision: Assist in the preparation of the year-end provision for U.S. reporting entities and development of consolidated year-end income tax provision workpapers, including financial statement footnotes.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Domestic and International Tax Projects: Assist on several domestic and international tax projects on a recurring basis, which may include support in Federal and State audits, and other duties as assigned or required to support the team and organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Experience: Zero to two years of relevant corporate tax accounting experience.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, strong communication skills, both written and oral, flexibility to work independently or to collaborate with others.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with Alteryx and Tableau is advantageous, familiarity with tax return preparation software (e.g., CorpTax), tax research software (e.g., BNA), HFM, and SAP is beneficial.
